Pain has been a constant companion for Manu Gandas in the best phase of his career.
His breakthrough on the Professional Golf Tour of India at Hyderabad, September last, came in between tending to the overworked tendon in the right wrist.

A string of strong results ensued, leading to his second win on Tour earlier this month in Ahmedabad. Also, what stayed with him is the discomfort, the pain spreading from the wrist to elbow with overuse. Before and every round, tending to the tender areas has become a norm.

With time, Manu’s golf has come to be centred around protecting the affected areas. But still, the craft is good enough to get into contention again.
