Improved to 1-for-5 when attempting to convert a 54-hole lead/co-lead into victory. With the win, collected 500 FedExCup points and moved to No. 8 in the standings (from 20th).

The last individual stroke-play title on TOUR before this week came at the 2019 Sentry Tournament of Champions. Xander claimed his fifth title earlier this season at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, partnering with Patrick Cantlay.
Became the seventh multiple winner in the 2021-22 PGA TOUR season.
The win at TPC River Highlands marked his sixth consecutive top 20 finish on TOUR; comes off a T14 at last week’s U.S. Open.
Becomes the eighth 54-hole leader/co-leader to convert for the win at the Travelers Championship and first since Chez Reavie in 2019.

TOUR rookie Sahith Theegala followed a 6-under 64 in round three with a 3-under 67 Sunday to claim T2 honours, his best TOUR finish in 38 starts.
Playing in the second-to-last group, he held a one-stroke lead at 19-under before taking a double-bogey-six at the 72nd hole to eventually finish two strokes back with J.T. Poston.

The finish marked his fifth top-10 finish of the season and supplants a previous-best career showing of T3 from the WM Phoenix Open earlier this season.

After opening the week with an 8-under 62, Poston closed with a bogey-free 6-under 64 to finish T2 at 17-under 263. He was in search of a second career TOUR title (2019 Wyndham Championship). The best of two top-10 finishes this season before this week was T3 at the RBC Heritage.
In his third TOUR start, 20-year-old Michael Thorbjornsen (4th/-15) was competing on a sponsor exemption in bid to become first amateur to win on TOUR since Phil Mickelson (1991 Northern Telecom Open).

Following birdies on four of his first six holes, Chesson Hadley (5th/-14) holed his second shot at the par-4 15th from 28’ 1” en route a 6-under 64. He began the week with missed cuts in each of five previous Travelers Championship starts.
With five birdies, nine bogeys and a double bogey, Patrick Cantlay (T13/-10) made just three pars en route to a final-round 5-over 75; was seeking his eighth career TOUR title and second of the season (Zurich Classic of New Orleans, partnering with Schauffele).
