Robert MacIntyre (1st/-14) ties the largest 54-hole lead on the PGA TOUR this season; fifth player to lead by four strokes through three rounds and the previous four went on to win (Jake Knapp/Mexico Open at Vidanta, Akshay Bhatia/Valero Texas Open, Chris Gotterup/Myrtle Beach Classic, Davis Riley/Charles Schwab Challenge).

This is the largest 54-hole lead at the RBC Canadian Open since led by four Dean Wilson in 2010 (finished 2nd).

His first career 54-hole lead/co-lead on TOUR; previous-best position: T2, 2024 Myrtle Beach Classic (finished T13).

Two-time winner on the DP World Tour (2020 Aphrodite Hills Cyprus Showdown, 2022 DS Automobiles Italian Open)

With a victory, MacIntyre would be the fifth player from Scotland to win on the PGA TOUR since the start of the 1940 season.

Would be the first player from Scotland to win on the PGA TOUR since Martin Laird at the 2020 Shriners Children’s Open.

Would be the third win by a European player in the last four editions of the RBC Canadian Open (Rory McIlroy/2019, McIlroy/2022, MacIntyre/2024).

Would be the 17th player to make the RBC Canadian Open his first PGA TOUR victory and first since 2009 (Nathan Green).

Would be the second player from the 2023 DP World Tour Top 10 to win on TOUR this season, joining Matthieu Pavon (Farmers Insurance Open).

Would be the second left-handed player to win on TOUR this season, joining Akshay Bhatia (Valero Texas Open)

With a victory, Mackenzie Hughes (T2/-10) would be the second consecutive Canadian winner of the RBC Canadian Open, following Nick Taylor’s win in 2023 (was the first since Pat Fletcher in 1954).

Would be the third Canadian winner on TOUR this season, joining Nick Taylor (WM Phoenix Open) and Taylor Pendrith (THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson).

Would become the sixth Canadian with three or more PGA TOUR wins since the start of the 1940 season

At No. 63 in the Official World Golf Ranking, Ryan Fox (T2/-10) is the highest-ranked PGA TOUR member that has not played in a Signature Event this season; entered the week No. 8 in the Aon Swing 5 standings and is currently projected to move to No. 4.
