With a win, Wolff will become the first player to win on Tour after losing the same tournament in a playoff the year prior since Ryuji Imada at the 2008 AT&T Classic.

Schenk finished solo-fourth at the 2021 Barracuda Championship after entering the final round with the outright lead (Modified Stableford).
Wolff (2nd/-17) lost in a playoff at the 2020 Shriners Children’s Open; the last player to win on Tour after losing in a playoff at the same tournament the year prior was Ryuji Imada at the 2008 AT&T Classic (lost in a playoff in 2007 to Zach Johnson).
