Gaurav Pratap Singh has plenty to be proud of in a pro journey that started in 2006. In terms of appearances on the  PGTI, he is two short of the 250 mark, which makes him a hardened veteran.

With a win to boot soon after in 2009 on his home course Noida Golf Course for the breakthrough, Gaurav looked set for many more laurels.

Twelve years down, he is still searching for the next win, but credit to his never-say-die spirit, he stays a serious contender on Tour. A flip through his career stats over the seasons show that he has come close on several occasions.

Injuries played a part in setting him back, but that’s part of an athlete’s journey, he says, and with time bitterness has made way for perspective.

Being on the golf course is what gives joy, and couple it with hard work, the next title isn’t far away. Everyone has a different graph and his time will come. Goals create pressure is his belief.
