Hoge’s 9-under 63, the third-lowest score of his PGA Tour career (lowest: 62, 2015 and 2020 Wyndham Championship).

Starting on No. 10, he made six consecutive birdies on Nos. 3-8, the longest birdie streak of his Tour career (previous: 5, twice; most recent: 2021 Valero Texas Open).
Hoge is seeking first PGA Tour title (best finish: 2nd/2019 A Military Tribute at The Greenbrier, 2nd/2022 American Express).
He was T2 entering the final round of the 2021 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am before finishing 12th, his best result in seven previous starts at the event.

Seamus Power (2nd/-8/SH) is making his fifth start at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, with his best result coming in 2020 (T38).
Power earned his first career PGA Tour victory last season at the Barbasol Championship and has two top-fives in nine starts this season (T4/The RSM Classic, T3/Sony Open in Hawaii).
Rookie Austin Smotherman, who competed at Pebble Beach as a junior participant in the 2015 PURE Insurance Championship, stands T3 (-7/PB); Smotherman made eagles at Nos. 18 and 6, the first two eagles of his Tour career.

Cantlay, who finished T3 at the event in 2021, has two top-10s in two starts this season (4th/Sentry Tournament of Champions, 9th/The American Express).
Two-time champions Kevin Streelman and Larry Fitzgerald lead the pro-am portion of the competition at 11-under.
