Adam Hadwin (1st/-6) has his third career 18-hole lead/co-lead on the PGA TOUR at the Memorial Tournament; finished T7 in each of the previous two instances (2022 Valspar Championship, 2022 U.S. Open).

Missed the cut at last week’s RBC Canadian Open, his national open.

Qualified for all eight Signature Events by finishing in the top 50 of the 2022-23 FedExCup standings (No. 45 in the official FedExCup standings).

Has one career PGA TOUR win (2017 Valspar Championship).

Scottie Scheffler (2nd/-5) recorded a 5-under 67, his 142nd score of 67 or better since joining the PGA TOUR at the start of the 2019-20 season (most of any player in that span; second-most: 123, Sungjae Im).

Making fourth start at the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday; last two results: 3rd/2021, 3rd/2023.

With a win, would become the first player with five or more wins in a season since Justin Thomas in 2016-17 (5).

2024 PGA Championship winner Xander Schauffele (T3) recorded a 4-under 68; with a win, Schauffele would become the second major winner this season to win in his next start on TOUR after the major victory, joining Scottie Scheffler (won the RBC Heritage in his first start after winning the Masters Tournament).

Last player to win the PGA Championship and the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday in the same season: Tiger Woods, 2000.

Defending champion Viktor Hovland (T7/-3) is attempting to become the first player to win the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday in consecutive years since Tiger Woods won three straight (1999, 2000, 2001).
