At T2, Angad Cheema is best Indian after Day 2 of the Hero Indian Open on Friday.

Irrespective of the outcome on Sunday, Angad Cheema will have plenty of takeaways from the week, considering this is his first Hero Indian Open at the DLF Golf & Country Club, and very little prior experience of tournament play here.

As the best Indian after two days at T2 and five off the lead, the tactic that has helped Angad to some strong finishes of late is even more critical at this unforgiving course.

“Making fewer rash decisions which lead him to be harsh on himself”, Angad, for the second day running, was able to stick to the game-plan while making the most of the time in the middle.

Confident that the “more you play here, the better you get”, Angad will be looking forward to the weekend, but with some trepidation, as one never knows when this course can bare its fangs.
