Five of the last six winners of the RSM Classic have held the outright lead entering the final round (three via playoff).
Gooch ties the largest 54-hole lead in tournament history (all three other players went on to win: Kevin Kisner, 2015; Austin Cook, 2017; Robert Streb, 2020).
He had three missed cuts in four prior starts at the RSM Classic (T23/2019).
