Briem then rolled in three birdies in four holes in a spell between holes 11 and 14 to secure the largest margin of victory of the 2026 LET season winning with a total of 12-under-par.
“It’s been a long time. I came close a couple of times and I didn’t make it, but it’s a great venue to get my second win. It’s great over here, and it was a great weekend,” said Briem.
“I actually did not really know the standings, so I was always trying to push and make birdies and giving myself opportunities. Then I birdied 11, 12, then 14 and it was easy from there on. I had a couple opportunities in the last four holes, but I’m really happy.
“I actually don’t drink alcohol, so that’s probably not going to be the case [the celebration], but my sister is playing next week, so I’ll be with her for a couple days, and then get ready for the U.S.”
Briem’s first LET win was at La Sella Open in September 2024 with her father Jochen by her side. The pair now have another trophy for their collection, and the 20-year-old has also booked her spot at the 2026 Amundi Evian Championship.

“It’s great,” she continued. “Playing majors is always a special experience, and obviously, it was on my mind that this is at stake over here, but I also knew that there are other possibilities or opportunities to qualify for Evian. It was on my mind, but I knew it wasn’t mandatory, so that helped a lot.
“[On her dad] We’re having a good time. We’re learning, we’re growing together, and it’s such a privilege to play with him on the bag, and to travel the world with them, and I’m really glad that he’s always on the side.
“I have a week off now, and then I play Dow with Nastasia [Nadaud]. I’m looking forward to that and then we’ll see what else this season brings.”
Three players ended the week in a share of second place with Singapore’s Shannon Tan, Wales’ Lydia Hall and Ireland’s Sara Byrne all on five-under-par.
Tan, who also finished runner-up here in 2025, carded a round of 69 (-2) which included four birdies and two bogeys.

“I would say I left a lot of shots out there, I missed another short putt today, so that’s two soft bogeys over the past two days,” said the 2025 LET Order of Merit winner. “That’s two shots and then I missed a few more six-footers, but that’s the part of my game I’ve really been trying to clean up the past month or so.
“I saw that in this week, Morocco and Germany where I couldn’t really make anything six feet and below. The good side is the 10-15 footers are better and I’m gaining one or two shots per round, so that’s something good to see. If I can get everything on the right track at some point that would be great. Overall, under-par at Evian I would take it because you need to play decent to put a score up.”
LET winner Hall also produced a round of 69 (-2) on the final day to secure her best finish of the 2026 season.
“This golf course has done the worst things to me mentally over I don’t know how many years I’ve been coming here,” said Hall. “Last year I made the decision not to come here.
“This year, with a lot of mental work over the past three years with my psychologist, it was more coming into this week as a challenge mentally to see if I could stay patient, play the golf I know I can play aggressively, and try and enjoy playing this golf course. Accepting you’re going to get bad breaks and make bogeys and stay in the moment.
“I’m really played to do that today. I’m really proud that I had a couple under-par today in the final round because I tend to slip away sometimes which is very frustrating. I’m just really pleased to stick in there. There was obviously a couple more shots out there as there always is that could have, should have or would have been but overall after the last couple of weeks I’m pleased.”
Ireland’s Byrne recorded her best-ever finish on the LET with a T2 result after a final round of even par in France.
“I’m really happy with that week to be tied second, my best-ever LET finish and first time in the final group,” said Byrne. “Today was probably the best golf I played all week, unfortunately not one out wanted to drop for me all day.

“I gave myself so many opportunities. I’m so proud of how I handled myself out there and this has been a fun week. It’s been really fun being back on Tour and putting myself in contention.”
French duo Lois Lau and amateur Alice Kong were the best of the home contingent this week finishing in a share of fifth place alongside India’s Avani Prashanth and Norway’s Dorthea Forbrigd.
Seven players rounded out the top 10 with France’s Ariane Klotz, Sweden’s Kajsa Arwefjäll, England’s Hannah Screen, Germany’s Alexandra Försterling, Australia’s Stephanie Bunque, Japan’s Ayako Uehara and India’s Diksha Dagar all on three-under.
