Quick off the blocks, Kshitij Kaul a name for the future
Kshitij Naveed Kaul earned the distinction of breaking through on PGTI in his rookie year with the Pune Open win in 2019.

Kshitij Naveed Kaul had a dream start to his pro career in 2019, winning in the rookie year and securing other strong finishes that season on the Professional Golf Tour of India.

It wasn’t surprising as the strapping lad, who practices at the Aravalli Golf Course in Fairdabad, astonished all by securing a T6 at the 2018 Panasonic Open, his first exposure to an Asian Tour event.

Hear it from the young champion.

“The Pune Open win was special as I played my first pro event here at 14 and finished 16th. My first win as an amateur also came here. My grandparents shifted to Pune in 2001 and I spent my childhood and holidays with them. Any good finish here brings them happiness.

“I had featured on the leaderboard on the PGTI before so I was comfortable within that zone. The Pune win is also special as it was only my fifth tournament after qualifying.”
