Xander Schauffele (Winner/-9) has his ninth PGA TOUR victory at The Open and second Major championship title (2024 PGA Championship) in his 180th TOUR start at 30 years, 8 months, 26 days.

First player to win the PGA Championship and The Open Championship in the same year since Rory McIlroy (2014).

54-hole leader Billy Horschel (T2/-7) earned his career-best finish in his 43rd start at a major championship (previous: T4/2013 U.S. Open).

Thriston Lawrence (4th/-6) earned enough non-member FedExCup points to become eligible for Special Temporary Membership on the PGA TOUR. If he accepts, Lawrence would be eligible for unlimited sponsor exemptions for the remainder of the 2024 season as he attempts to earn his PGA TOUR card for 2025 via non-member FedExCup points.
