Reigning FedExCup Champion Patrick Cantlay (-9) birdied last four holes to take two-stroke lead over Robert Streb at the RBC Heritage. This marked first time in his fifth appearance at Harbour Town Golf Links to birdie Nos. 15, 16, 17 and 18 in a single round.

Holds the 36-hole lead/co-lead for the eighth time on the PGA TOUR, converting one of previous seven into victory (2021 TOUR Championship/Note: starting strokes available at TOUR Championship); most recently: 2022 American Express/T9.

Opened the season with four consecutive top-10s and has not recorded one in four starts since losing to Scottie Scheffler in a playoff at the WM Phoenix Open.

With 4-under 67, two-time TOUR winner Robert Streb (2nd/-7) recorded his low round at Harbour Town Golf Links (previous best: 68/four times/most recent, R1/2022).

Cameron Tringale’s (T3/-6) rounds of 69-67 marked his first in the 60s in his fourth appearance at RBC Heritage; posted three missed cuts and a low of 72 in three prior starts at this event; player with most career earnings without a victory in PGA TOUR history ($16,389,256).

2018 AT&T Byron Nelson winner Aaron Wise (T3/-6) advanced to the weekend for the first time in his third start at RBC Heritage; his two top-10s in 12 starts this season came in consecutive starts (T8/Shriners Children’s Open, T5/THE CJ CUP).

2021 Barracuda Championship winner Erik van Rooyen (T3/-6) carded six birdies for 4-under 67; posted 14-under total en route to T21 at 2020 RBC Heritage in his lone prior appearance at this event; owns four top-25s in 11 starts this season, with T13 at THE PLAYERS Championship his best.

First-round leader Cameron Young (T3/-6) hit nine of 18 greens in regulation and posts three birdies, three bogeys and a double bogey (No. 4) en route to a 2-over 73 after holding his first-ever lead following any round on TOUR.

Defending champion and three-time RBC Heritage winner Stewart Cink (T56/E) advanced to the weekend for the 18th time in his 23rd appearance at this event; last player to successfully defend title at the RBC Heritage: Boo Weekley (2008).

Competing on a Major Medical Extension in his first PGA TOUR start since the 2019 Shriners Children’s Open, Morgan Hoffmann missed the cut by one stroke with rounds of 71-72. He has two starts remaining on his extension and needs 238.420 or more FedExCup points in those starts to remain in the Major Medical category for the rest of the season.
