Rodgers has two top-10s in seven prior starts at The RSM Classic, including a runner-up in 2018 (lost in a playoff to Charles Howell III); finished with scores of 61-62 in 2018, which is tied for the lowest closing 36-hole score in PGA TOUR history (123).

Making his eighth start of the season; has made six consecutive cuts, including a T3 at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship.

Is making his 155th start since winning the 2014 Shriners Children’s Open; Sunday’s final round comes 2,954 days since the victory (8 years, 1 month, 1 day).

Is making his seventh start at The RSM Classic and first since 2019 (MC); best result in six prior starts: T17/2014.

36-hole co-leader Andrew Putnam enters the final round one stroke back in search of his second career PGA TOUR title and first in a stroke-play event (won the 2018 Barracuda Championship/Modified Stableford).

Brian Harman (T6), one of 16 active PGA TOUR members that live in the Sea Island area, is the highest-ranked player in the field at No. 24 in the Official World Golf Ranking; has two top-10s in 10 starts in The RSM Classic (T4/2017, T10/2013); has 25 top-10s on the PGA TOUR since the start of the 2017-18 season, the most of any player without a win in that span (second: Adam Hadwin, 22).

PGA TOUR rookie Taylor Montgomery (T6/-12) entered the week with three top-10s this season, tied with Matthew NeSmith for most on TOUR.

First-round leader and second-round co-leader Cole Hammer cards a 2-over 72 to fall to T17; would earn a spot in the 2023 Sony Open in Hawaii with a top-10 finish.
