Apart from what has worked for Sachin, a major ally is teeing off on his home course. “Growing up at the Delhi Golf Club, I know what clubs to use and course management (tee to green) isn’t a problem (unlike for the uninitiated on this tight layout),” said Sachin.

Couple this with the new-found confidence, and Sachin has thrown in his hat. “Earlier, I used to get nervous, not knowing what it takes to win. That’s history now. After PGTI, the Asian Tour (win) is on my radar,” he said.
