Scottie Scheffler (1st/-26) entered the third round of the Tour Championship holding a four-shot lead and carded a 5-under 66 to take a five-shot lead at 26-under into the final round.

Is looking to become just the second wire-to-wire champion (no ties) since the Starting Strokes format started in 2019: Patrick Cantlay, 2021.

Entered the final round of the 2022 TOUR Championship with a six-shot lead over Rory McIlroy before finishing T2 after closing with a 73.

His previous lowest 54-hole total since the Starting Strokes format started in 2019: 23-under (Scheffler, 2022).

Entered the TOUR Championship at No. 1 in the FedExCup standings for the third consecutive year (T2/2022, T6/2023).

Fifth consecutive start at the TOUR Championship (5th/2020, T22/2021, T2/2022, T6/2023).

With a victory, would win the FedExCup for the first time in his career and earn his seventh victory of the season (Wins: Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard, THE PLAYERS Championship, Masters Tournament, RBC Heritage, the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday, Travelers Championship).

With a win, would become the second player to win THE PLAYERS and the FedExCup in the same season and first since Rory McIlroy in 2019.

The last player to win seven or more times in a single season: Tiger Woods, 2007.

Collin Morikawa (2nd) recorded a third-round 67 to remain in solo second entering the final round; previous best standing entering the final round of the TOUR Championship was T3 (2023); owns six top-five finishes on the PGA TOUR this season and is looking to record his first win since the 2023 ZOZO CHAMPIONSHIP.

Making his eighth consecutive start at the TOUR Championship, Xander Schauffele (4th) posted a third-round 71 to remain at 16-under, marking his 31st consecutive par-or-better round at the TOUR Championship.

Shane Lowry (8th) and defending FedExCup Champion Viktor Hovland (T13) posted the day’s low round with 6-under 65s after starting the third round at T13 and T25, respectively.
