Tony Finau’s bounce back lists the greatest in 3M Open history

Beginning the final round of the 3M Open five strokes off the lead, Tony Finau (1st/-17) earned his third PGA TOUR title.

Finau registered the largest final-round comeback by a winner in 3M Open history.

TPC Twin Cities recorded the most balls in the water on TOUR this season with 303.

Finau won his third career PGA TOUR victory in his 212th start at the age of 32 years, 10 months, 10 days, collected 500 points and moves from No. 30 to No. 17 in the FedExCup standings.

Marked the largest comeback win on TOUR since Sam Burns came from seven back at the 2022 Charles Schwab Challenge.

Finau won in his fourth 3M Open start and marks second event top-five (T23/2019, T3/2020, T28/2021, Won/2022).

This is his fourth top-10 in 21 starts this season (T2/Mexico Open at Vidanta, T4/Charles Schwab Challenge, 2nd/RBC Canadian Open).

Finau is a three-time PGA TOUR winner: 2016 Puerto Rico Open, 2021 FedEx St. Jude Championship, 2022 3M Open.

Has reached the TOUR Championship five consecutive seasons and qualified for the FedExCup Playoffs seven times in as many seasons as a member.

Sungjae Im (T2/-14) collected his third runner-up of PGA TOUR career and seventh top-10 this season.

In search of his second PGA TOUR title and first since the 2015 Fortinet Championship, Emiliano Grillo (T2/-14) finished runner-up for the sixth time on TOUR and second this season (T2/John Deere Classic); marks second top five in third appearance at the 3M Open (T3/2020, MC/2021).

With a final round 6-under 65, James Hahn (T4/-13) earned his best finish on TOUR since runner-up at the 2018 Sony Open in Hawaii.

After setting the 3M Open 54-hole scoring record with 18-under 195, Scott Piercy (T4/-13) fell to 2-for-6 when holding the third-round lead/co-lead; earned his first top-10 of the season.

In his bid to become the fifth player to successfully defend a TOUR title this season, and first since Rory McIlroy at the RBC Canadian Open, Cameron Champ finished T16 at 7-under 277.
