The win on the Professional Golf Tour of India in Kolkata last week is followed by his best finish on the Asian Tour in a fledgling international career.

Yuvraj leapfrogged the leaderboard on the final day of The DGC Open to settle at T6, courtesy the 5-under 67 on Sunday.

On a week where it was about clutching at straws, the round was summed up by Yuvraj. He used it to describe Danthai Boonma’s eight-under 64 on Sunday. “It was as if he was on the PlayStation,” said Yuvraj.
Coming from where he did, starting Day 1 with a 75, Yuvraj proved “golf is a test of patience”.

The result will open doors on the global Tour, but the ground situation stays unchanged for Yuvraj — keep striving to get better.
