Gaganjeet claimed at the start of the week he had a premonition that coming down the 72nd hole on Sunday he would have a 10-15 putt to win, and it came true as tied with Karandeep at 14-under, he needed to nail the 12-feet putt, and he pulled it off with ice-cold efficiency.

It was easier said than done as Gaganjeet had to cap a topsy-turvy day. After a slow start, he gained pace only to fall back. What kept him going was idol and tournament host Jeev’s words, “Never give up till it is over.”
