The Tourism Authority of Thailand and Pattaya City organised the ‘Amazing Thailand Golf Paradise Networking’ at the Delhi Golf Club last week.
Around 30 travel agents and event organizers participated in the networking exercise.
Tanes Petsuwan, Deputy Governor for International Marketing Asia and South Pacific, delivered the welcome remarks, which was followed by a destination update which highlighted golf destinations in Thailand like Chiang Mai, Hua Hin, Khao Yai and Phuket.
Titipun Pettrakul, Deputy Mayor of Pattaya City, listed the city’s attractions for Indian travellers.
Kullatorn Mesommonta, President of EGA Thailand, introduced the golf courses around Pattaya and Eastern region of Thailand.
The representatives from Thailand included the East Region of Thailand (Association), Royong Green Valley Co, Ltd, Royal Hills Golf Resort & Spa, Kabin Buri Sport Club, Treasure Hill Golf Club, Bangpra International Golf Club and Underwater World Pattaya.
Thailand has more than 250 golf courses by the sea, mountains, lakes, inside cities and even besides airports. Top quality courses, reasonable green fees and friendly caddies make it an attractive destination.
