It wasn’t easy, especially with elder sister Jahanvi winning multiple times last season, but Hitaashee, who in fact broke through first on the domestic pro circuit in December 2020, stayed firm.

It wasn’t easy but help was forthcoming from all quarters, family, coaches and the support staff, and patience paid off last week as Hitaashee ended a 14-month dry run in Mumbai.

That box ticked, the focus is now on striving for bigger laurels.
