Khalin Joshi is searching for answers.
This, despite the win in Coimbatore last week and the strong start to the Chennai Open.
Two off the lead at 5-under 67, Khalin, often his biggest critic, has been left wondering on the up-and-down form of late.

The rigours of balancing the domestic and international schedule could be a reason, tiredness kicking in to an extent that he claims there was no time to celebrate the Players Championship. But this is not being offered as an excuse.

The reason lies beyond fatigue. The iffiness lies on the golf course, and continues to raise its head. “Last week (in Coimbatore) was far from the best golf I played, but it happened as I putted well and managed myself well off the tee.”
On to the practice round at the TNGF Cosmo Golf Course on Monday. It was a horror show. Khalin sprayed the ball all over, and someone watching would have wondered, “Is this the guy who won last week?”

Khalin is disappointed, not worried, but knows the way about. The solution lies in “hitting a lot more balls” to compete at the highest level. This isn’t about more range work, but showing the level of play (consistently) he is known for.
