Zubin Nijhawan was happy playing golf left handed till he set sights on his grandfather’s spanking new golf set. It was a top notch brand and the shining clubs were enticement enough for the impressionable boy to turn right handed, and be called ambidextrous.

Zubin got set in his ways and now plays on the Professional Golf Tour of India with a golf set for a right hander. But even after all these years, a couple of knocks at the driving range is all it takes to revive the memories of striking the golf ball like he did as a kid, with the left hand.

Incidents such as these dot Zubin’s life on and off the golf course; we can call them his experiments with truth as a teenager and now as an athlete.

Zubin has come a long way in terms of the varied experiences he’s had with time.

Not many of us would be comfortable talking about our experiments with truth, not so with Zubin. He tried out all of that but used the learnings to decide on his mission.

Playing professional golf it would be and though he is still finding his feet at PGTI, the never-say-die attitude we associate with one from a family of army men, there is confidence the never-say-die attitude will see him through and help find his bearings.
