It was a voluntary getaway in December to rest a tired body after nine months of action in Japan, while January was about coping with a bad bout of COVID.

One shot off the lead at the Players Championship, Rahil’s putting was the highlight on Day 1, and drew applause from SSP Chawrasia.

Coming into this week with just two weeks of tournament play on the Asian Tour in Thailand, Rahil is buoyed by the start to this week, and hopes he can continue in the same vein.
