Gaganjeet Bhullar relishes being in the front and he did not let go of the shared lead he held with Samarth Dwivedi after two rounds at the Season 2 AM Green IGPL Krishna Invitational 2026 Hyderabad presented by Punjab Raptors GC.

On a day when others faltered under the final day pressure, Bhullar opened and ended the round with bogeys, but in between he holed seven birdies for a five-under-par 65 in his final loop.

He finished the tournament with an aggregate score of 14-under-par 196, beating his nearest rival Karandeep Kochhar 6-under 64 by three strokes. Kochhar aggregated 11-under as did C Muniyappa (66).
Bhullar’s show also saw Chennai Lions GC take the team title ahead at 26-under and two shots ahead of Vizag Dolphins at 24-under while Punjab Raptors GC were just behind at third at 23-under.
When the final round began all eyes were on overnight leaders Bhullar and Samarth Dwivedi. Dwivedi had spent the first two rounds playing fearless, aggressive golf, posting consecutive rounds of 66 and 65 to command the field.
But the final day was a different story. Dwivedi’s trouble started early on the front nine. Failing to find the rhythm that had served him so well earlier in the week, he stumbled to a disappointing three-over-par 37 with five bogeys against two birdies before making the turn. Misfired tee shots and cold putter plagued him.

Despite an under-par back nine of 34, the damage was already done. He had an eagle on the 14th but also dropped a shot on the 18th for a 71. Dwivedi’s final-round 71 saw him plummet down the leaderboard into a tie for sixth place at 8-under-par overall. It was a heartbreaking reminder of how quickly a tournament can slip through a leader’s fingers.
As Dwivedi fell back, Bhullar capitalized with surgical precision. Starting the day in shared lead, Bhullar showcased why he is a multiple-time champion. He blazed through the front nine with a sizzling 32, picking up birdies through smart course management and aggressive iron play.
He bogeyed the first but birdies on the fifth, eighth and the ninth saw him turn in 2-under 34. On the back nine he birdied the 12th and the 14th and capped it with an eagle on the 17th which sealed the title. Despite a closing bogey he was a comfortable winner.

When the pressure intensified on the back nine, Bhullar remained unfazed. He negotiated the tricky layout of the Hyderabad Golf Association with great panache. His final round 65 matched his opening-day score, punctuating a remarkably consistent week of 65, 66, and 65.
Behind Bhullar, a fierce battle unfolded for the remaining podium spots. Kochhar mounted the charge of the day, firing a spectacular 6-under-par 64, the lowest round of the final day, to surge into a tie for second place. He had two birdies on the front nine and added a third on the tenth and then closed the day in style with three birdies in a row, but Bhullar was flying away.
Joining him at 11-under-par was veteran Muniyappa, whose steady 66 ensured a lucrative payout and valuable order-of-merit points.
Sachin Baisoya finished solo fourth at 10-under-par after carding a 65, and Manav Shah, who shot an incredible, course-record-threatening 61 on day two, managed only a 69 to take solo fifth.
For Bhullar, the win is more than just another trophy on the mantle, it is extending his lead over others in terms of AM Green IGPL wins. Securing his fifth AM Green IGPL title highlights his longevity and adaptability on different courses across the country. He also has 11 Asian Tour wins, the highest by an Indian.
