Mashal Sports, the Pro Kabaddi League owners, have announced the resumption of the league following a two-year hiatus. Action on Star Sports, which also holds a majority stake in Mashal Sports, will start with the three-day auction.

Top PKL stars like Pardeep Narwal, Deepak Hooda, Siddharth Desai, Vishal Bhardwaj, and Rahul Chaudhari will go under the hammer at the three-day mega auction.

After a two-year hiatus, the Vivo Pro Kabaddi League will be back this year. The action unfolds with the highly-anticipated player auction scheduled between August 29 and 31. The excitement around the auction started building when the top three raiders were confirmed to be in the auction pool. All-time leading scorers Pardeep Narwal, Rahul Chaudhari and Deepak Hooda would be up for grabs.

Star Sports, the official broadcaster of the Vivo Pro Kabaddi League, has started teasing the kabaddi lovers with a promo, announcing the arrival of the second most-popular professional league for sports in India.

Day 2 of the auction will see the biggest domestic players going under the hammer which will be broadcast Live & Exclusive on Star Sports 2, Star Sports 1 Hindi, Star Sports First, SS1 Telugu, SS1 Tamil and SS1 Kannada, and Disney+ Hotstar from 6:30 PM onwards.

The auction will be broadcast LIVE on the Pro Kabaddi League official website.

The promo showcases the auction as the first step towards stardom for all the PKL stars. It’s a narrative which celebrates the hustle of kabaddi players. As fan excitement grows with each passing day, speculation on team combinations is running wild. The League’s Top Raiders – Pardeep Narwal, Rahul Chaudhari, Siddharth Desai, and Deepak Hooda are part of the auction and fans have been anticipating some super teams in the making.

The Auction this year will witness some big changes to the teams, and fans can watch and track all the latest developments closely in the nail-biting auction only on the Star Sports Network and Disney+ Hotstar.
