Busy with his commitments at workplace, Karan Mehto announced his return to competition in style by winning the season opener of the Indian Golf Union’s North Zone Amateur Feeder Tour, organsied by Ace Golf, through Thursday and Friday of the week.

Opening with a two-under 65, Karan, however, let go of the momentum on Day 2 to close with a six-over 73 to cap the week with a final score of four-over 138 for a two-shot win.
With identical rounds of 70, Smyaan Gupta took the second spot in the men’s category with a 140, and was followed by Jay Handa a shot back at 141 (70, 71).

In ladies, Mayali Talwar opened with a 78, but displayed astute understanding of the conditions to close with a one-over 68 to take the top spot with a cumulative score of 146.
Ishita was the next best name on the leaderboard with a two-day total of 157 (76, 81), and was followed three shots back by Anushka Singh Malik at 160 after carding identical scores of 80.
