In his third start of the season, Lucas Herbert finished with an eagle and birdie for a 65 to move to T6, his career best 36-hole position on Tour. He missed the cut in his first two starts in the 2021-22 season.
Starting the day two off the lead, Kiradech Aphibarnrat carded a 72 which included a double bogey on his last hole to fall back to T34.

His second-round 61 included nine birdies, his career-best total in a round. At 11-under 131, cards 36-hole tournament record (previous: 131/Harry Higgs, Brendon Todd, Scottie Scheffler/2019) and carries a one-stroke lead into the third round.
Best finish in 12 PGA Tour starts is T11 at the 2021 Barbasol Championship. The Canada native is a two-time Mackenzie Tour-PGA Tour Canada winner.
Finished the 2020-21 combined season No. 7 in the Korn Ferry Tour points; recorded four runner-up finishes and 21 top-25s across 37 starts.
Rodgers (2nd/-10) began this season with a T6 at the Fortinet Championship and followed with a missed cut at Sanderson Farms Championship.
