It’s tough not to think of what could be in store on the final day of the Jaipur Open.
Four shots off the lead, a win lurks for Abhinav Lohan, and with it would mean ending an almost three-year title drought on PGTI. But Abhinav is trying hard to look beyond the crystal ware, at the larger picture.

Changing coach during the off-season has been seamless and so have the changes to the golf swing. “They were prompted by a particular mistake I was making,” says Abhinav.

It will be some time before the new stuff gets cast in stone, but this week Abhinav has been comfortable with not just the swing, but every aspect of his game, especially putting.
It reflects in the card, the scores over three days easily the best so far this season. That again is a source of confidence as the big events loom towards the end of the calendar.

Content in the “happy space”, Abhinav is ready to play the waiting game, unmindful of when the second win on Tour will arrive. But should it happen on Saturday, he will point to the virtues of staying patient and going out and expressing himself to the fullest.
